About David Walker

David Walker, known to many simply as DW, is a testament to faith, purpose, and calling. Now a proud member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, David’s journey began in the small town of Stuttgart, Arkansas, where he was raised as a family man deeply rooted in faith. For him, DW carries a double meaning: not just David Walker, but Divine Worship—the foundation of his life and the lens through which he approaches everything he does.

Guided by the words he lives by, “Your identity or brand reflects that everything you do is an act of worship unto the Lord,” David grounds his purpose in scripture, drawing strength from verses like Colossians 3:23, Matthew 6:33, Romans 8:28, and Luke 15:7. His college career at Central Arkansas stands as one of the most decorated in program history: a three-time All-American in 2023, recognized by six All-America teams in 2022, the inaugural United Athletic Conference (UAC) Defensive Player of the Year, a first-team All-UAC selection, and ultimately the 2024 Buck Buchanan Award recipient as the top defensive player in FCS football.

David’s impact stretches far beyond the field. At the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl, he earned the Community Service Award for boldly sharing his faith, mentoring others, and stepping into meaningful leadership. With his unwavering foundation in Christ, relentless work ethic, and heart for serving others, David Walker is poised to make a lasting impact at the professional level and is on a path toward an exceptional NFL career.
